Music Tracks Ripped From the Bloodstained E3 Demo.

However well mannered your own intentions and rabid fanaticism towards this game is, it still doesn't erase the fact that 3rd party tools were used to remove something, which was being protected from easy access, from a video game that its creators are hoping will eventually earn it some money.

You're confusing your argument that this demo is 'unlicensed' with my argument about copyright law being broken by these files being removed from the game. People do not have to make money off of the ripped music for it to be illegal. (Speaking of which, I've already found two different youtube channels who had ads displaying on their copies of this. Is receiving ad money not someone profiting on these?)

Will allow you to get the customary final word on this discussion in, before I delete my posts and be completely done with this subreddit. Released game or demo, those are semantics. Music was illegally ripped from a place it was being protected. I guess the DMCA doesn't apply if you're a fan of the game who dipped into your house payment to help the game succeed!

It also criminalizes the act of circumventing an access control, whether or not there is actual infringement of copyright itself.

Circumventing access control. These files were protected originally, someone used third party tools to get around that and have released the files within. How can you not see that's copyright violation?
