We must stop blaming ourselves for Islamist terrorism

In typical religious redirection it blames everything on "salafist" boogeymen and refuses to take responsibility even when it attempts to appear impartial.

OK, then list the Salafist organizations which you do not think are real if you think they are not to blame. Also explain why the Muslim regions of the world without much influence from these ideologies are suspiciously terrorism free. Or why these acts of terrorism have appeared now and not earlier. Also, explain how one becomes an extremist without influence from Salafist schools of thought.

And they will, while the children of other immigrants won't.

Why and how, please. "There are more Muslim terrorists than other terrorists" is not an explanation.

So why should we allow Muslims into our countries? If we cut off Muslim immigration it will stop, or at least diminish, home-grown and imported terrorism. You haven't actually said why that wouldn't work beyond repeating it wouldn't ad nauseam.

Did you only read the first paragraph of the article. 1) It's impossible. 2) Politicians don't want it. 3) You can't kill an idea by closing borders. There is a good case to be made that it would strengthen the idea. Is the UK going to stop it's affiliation with KSA because of "Muslim immigration"? Are extremists within Europe (you know, the actual people we are supposed to be concerned about) going to care that the borders are closed? Is Salafist & similar schools of thinking going to go out of fashion because of closed borders? No, no, and no. It's feel good policy, not based on reality. That's all.

And the reason I keep repeating that I don't give a fuck why Muslims are such a problem is it's not our responsibility to fix your fucked up culture. You will either fall in line or be made to. Muslims are not the victims here; they are the aggressors.

Right, the culture you refuse to learn about is fucked up. But your own is perfect because... why exactly? This is not a logical argument - it is an emotional one. One that is practically identical to that of white supremacists.

But I forgot! You're not a racist. You said so, so it must be true.

We care more about things that are closest to us, in most senses of the word.

Like Israel. LOL.

Loss of that security results in rapid and catastrophic collapse of those expanded circles, down to family and tribal units.

A world where this actually happened would be a better place.
