My friend is 27k in debt and falling trying to be an entrepreneur for all of his life, help me help him.

My dad (an ER doctor) sounds like your friend. In the past 10 years (actually more going far as 2006), he tunnel-visioned into wanting to develop an accounting program.

This has dragged on for years with 'learned from mistakes, exciting news, high potential, it will be ready next week' answers to anyone questioning the project.

Right now, it is obvious the project won't start. He sacrificed his physician job for it and returning back is difficult. For him, the only way out is to continue.

I don't know when will it stop.

We are in huge debt but I'm working on it.

I have nothing to say but do your best to stop the madness early on or it will drag on forever.
