Sorry off topic but I cringe that Westerners (Anglo-Europeans) out of nowhere suddenly pretend to care about Afghanistan and got enraged because they didn’t like the way Taliban wants to run the country. The way they talked made me think they have never spoken to an Afghan IRL.

They seem to think Afghanistan is liberal like Turkey, Tunisia, Lebanon, UAE and the likes when in reality, the region has always been conservative and the vast majority are conservatives (instilled by birth). Even without Taliban, the average Afghans are not going to accept a Western lifestyle.

British empire, Soviet Union and USA successfully managed to export their culture and ideology to most Muslim majority countries but failed in Afghanistan for a reason.
