My very first "spoon".

Yeah but I miss the flames :(

This spoon carving might just fill the void though. Every time I go into my kitchen/shop I end up spending 5-10 mins on that new branch.

I've sharpened up a couple nice flat head screw drivers, 8 inch one and a 4 inch one with smaller head. Should have done that to start, work great for the time being.

Did you know dollar store butter knives are cheap layers of pressed steel? I found that out when I cut one with tin snips and folded it back.

Surprisingly, I've got both edges sharp enough to cut skin on contact and the fold hold's well. How's this for a redneck engineering hook knife?

LOL. It DOES carve well, I need to shape it with the snips and refine the edges yet, and resharpen it every so often in use but it'll do for this next spoon at least.
