Employer discriminating me

I've gone through it so many times. And so many people over the years have told me, that's not unfair or discrimination even though you don't end up with severe anxiety over something small. So over time you learn that the law had not kept up with how covert bosses have become. And some employees or bosses who are bad have to lie about how bad their life is in order to keep a job. We're all up against a wall sometimes. It can help to learn that bad behavior directed at you is rarely personal. Someone insecure lashes out. Its no excuse and you should never let empathy overcome strategy. Its sad that you have to think on this wave length but I remember being young and everything was so fucked up. You do have to keep seeing dysfunction as horrible so you don't become it. And be smart before nice. The balance is still impossible for me at my age. I refuse to allow bullies and dysfunctional behavior change me into someone who sees work and life as a game or win or lose. You have to be you and find the one thing you're best at. Keep your head up and keep reaching out.
