It shouldn’t be either and I’ve taken both.

The LSAT is a logical reasoning and reading comprehension test used to try to predict how one will perform in law school. It has been widely criticized as being ineffective for this purpose. Essentially a law school aptitude test. There are no legal issues on it whatsoever. Once you have a score and are accepted into a school, it means absolutely nothing. It would be absurd to ask a law school 2L looking for a summer job about their LSAT, much less a seasoned lawyer and judge.

The bar is a minimum competency exam covering a wide array of legal topics, but usually only at the surface level. It is often described as being a mile wide and an inch deep. Again, once you’ve passed it, it means nothing. Most people don’t even find out what their score was unless they failed it. Also, most people already have lawyer jobs lined up before they even take it, which shows you how little it actually matters as far as qualifications.

This is a woman that was an editor on the highly selective Harvard Law Review, and graduated Harvard Law with honors. Law school grades are not strictly based on how many right answers you got like most people are used to, but how much better your answers were than your classmates’ answers. Finishing with honors at Harvard means she was usually among the smartest people in a room full of the smartest people in the country.

Then she spent 20+ years working as a lawyer, much of which was either as federal judge or working for a federal judge.

She’s qualified. We’re only talking LSAT because the racist mouth breathers don’t know the LSAT means fuck all about your abilities as a lawyer or judge and they’re grasping at straws.
