If only you had read what you’d wrote - you are equating resistance with additional deaths which sounds a whole lot like saying they died for nothing and shouldn’t have used weapons against the govt.

I guess oppressed people should knock it off then. You’re right. Trying to fight against a government is useless.

Or maybe… victims of a tyrannical state should fight against the powers that be from time to time. Violence is not the only answer but physical opposition against an oppressive state bolsters the social movements that result in change.

Few major revolutions have happened in a bloodless manner. I think we’d all prefer a peaceful transition but history does not agree with you.
