The Republican game of "Life"

The roulette wheel is significant because it accurately reflects republican policies, which champion chance and risk-based approaches to life.

The quality of your life is dependent on where you're born, who you're born to, the era you're born in, etc. Republican policies do nothing to adjust for these variables that statistically determine a person's outcome. If you take risks to improve your situation and fail, too bad. That's life.

In typical contradictory fashion, republicans believe we are the masters of our own fate. When we succeed, it's because we wanted it. When we fail, it's because we wanted to (unless you're a republican, then it's because of the government, brown people, trans people, etc.).

Republicans overstate the skill required to succeed in life and downplay the role of chance. The roulette wheel calls this out. It's a nice touch.
