Do I need a license/permit to harvest tule rush?

I completely understand your message that you’re trying to point out. I understand that very well. Not just with tule but other plants species and animal species are not doing as well as we’d like them to. Which is sad because many Native Americans depend on these native flora and fauna for their crafts and way of life. I’ve heard it’s been increasingly harder to make full boats out of tule with the current situation we’re going through. To be honest I tried looking for plant nurseries that sold store-raised tule, but I couldn’t find any in my area which is why I resorted to the possibility of harvesting them from the wild instead. I’m aware that too much of this can destructive. I appreciate your information and will try to be a sustainable person. :)
