The next time an American says living in the US is better, show them this!

Using more oil looks like it should actually be green. It doesn't cost an arm and a leg to fill up your tank here and we like to go offroading etc. We also aren't the size of a small state like Delaware so there is more road to travel, hence more oil burned.

I agree that the oil thing is a bit of a poor comparison that'll tend to lend it's self more favourable to smaller nations.

You may spend 2.4 times on healthcare but you won't die waiting around for your turn. Make that one green.

Besides the obviously stupid comment you had there, you are presuming you can afford the health care at all there...

40% more money. No brainer.

Again, I agree. Especially when the cost of living is so much lower.

6% less free time, because we're the guys who do our jobs, you must be the other guys.

What does that even mean?

39% more of a lass divide. I'd love to see how they arrived at that number. Toss this one out for being bullshit!

The website clearly explains it. Funnily enough the information comes fro the CIA world fact book, hard to dismiss that source as having an anti-american bias!

3x more likely to get AIDs, unless you're straight then who cares?

The USCDD's own figures suggest 32% of aids suffers are heterosexual. That's not an insignificant figure.

39% more likely to die in infancy. I admit we have a lot of stupid people here and a lot of them have kids. Tis' sad. Next!

That's not really how that statistic works pal.

1.39% more likely to be unemployed. Yeah if you are a lazy ass do nothing! Real Americans invent their own job if no one can take them on!

The US has a self employment rate of less than 8%. The UK has a self employment rate of 15%. Kind of puts your 'lazy ass' thing to shame!

(In all seriousness these are some pretty stupid criteria to compare countries by...)

I know you were only messing about! so don't take my reply too seriously either. But in all seriousness, what are good criteria to compare nations by? Countries are very hard to compare to each other, these statistics can be just as valid as any others when used properly.
