Yeah, I'd give it another crack next season, as you said, weird year. Use a rainbow flag/trans flag as a cape or something, rainbow face paint, something about how the ninja community has helped you push through lol. Say you want to inspire LGBT youth to become ninjas. Dredge up all the discrimination you've faced, maybe shed a tear for the cameras. I'd be curious to see if you still got rejected after all that, because if they are open to pushing that story, that sounds like a TV producer's wet dream. Then again, I don't know how many people apply for this show, but some of their picks make it look like they're scraping the bottom of the barrel.

And if that doesn't work out, I guess you could always start crushing watermelons between your thighs?
