nSUNS at Planet Fitness?

So, and I hope this goes through. I was trying to respond to the other dude awhile ago, but reddit was throwing me error messages. Yeah it’s been some pretty legit progress. Where he pulled my old maxes from is a post I made about not progressing on a program, I sat down and took my favorite parts of nSUNS and BBB and mashed them together and combined with getting approx. ~1000 free calories of food a day, mostly protein and carbs, from work, having a regular sleep schedule again now that I don’t have school, lifting with a spotter, and incorporating some cardio (biking everywhere I go) my lifts have skyrocketed. On my old program I was doing too much work before I started lifting heavier and tiring myself out, with more efficient rep schemes I’ve been able to get more energy into my lifts. So yes my bench has increased 50lbs, my squat is up a plate (I never really focused on squatting before but I’ve really been working on my leg power with my new program) and I’ve always naturally been good at deadlift but I don’t really want to deadlift any heavier tbh. And my 155 press was calculated because I previously only used dumbbells, 75lbs on each arm and the dumbbell itself weighs 2.5lbs. I assumed that adding it together would calculate into my barbell weight but i found when I use my whole body to help with the lift I can lift a lot more. 5’11” or 6’0” I’ve never had a consensus as to my height. Every time I get measured it’s somewhere in between there however in those 60 days I went to the doctor and was measured at 6’ so until I measure myself again and get 5’11” or 5’11.5” I’m 6’.

I’ve also been taking preworkout, Dr. Jekyll + Mr. Hyde and it has been night and day in my workouts for me it’s insane. I’m back on creatine, and I’ve been VERY conscious of my diet. I used to wing it but I’m back to watching my macros and counting calories.

So yes, it’s great progress but i feel like in the two or three month period prior where I was more or less stalling and getting frustrated so I’d lift to failure a lot has been what I needed in addition to getting back on a real regimen and diet plan.

I also was trying to invite the other guy to come witness it at my gym. He’s going to UW Madison which is in my state, and if he lives or is nearby Milwaukee, I can get him in for free for a day because I’m friends with some of the employees at my gym and he can come and eat his words. And yours now I guess.
