I miss the medieval arc, but that’s probably just because it had so much content, it was the longest arc after all. The Roman arc was cool too, but I wish we saw more of the other characters. The world war 2 and cold war arc were kind of underwhelming, the characters were too black and white for my taste, and the villains felt forced, like, of course I’m gonna like the American guys over the homicidal maniacs, and my favourite moments were when we saw the lesser villains and heroes, just people in misfortunate circumstances fighting people just trying to survive, it made them both feel more real, villains and heroes. But fortunately for me, the modern era arc seems to be focused on more than just one ultimate hero, and one ultimate villain, and plenty of characters seem to be here.
