You can definitely have your own opinion on this and I guess we'll have to see what happens against the big teams, but I'm not hopeful about our chances at all. I do hope you are right though, I really do.

As for watching the games; I agree that the games under Wilmots were snorefests, but the games under Martinez are sometimes absolutely infuriating to watch. How so many top players can misplace so many easy passes is something that goes beyond me completely, for example. But then again that might not be the fault of the manager, as I do feel like some of our players aren't really taking the national team as seriously as I feel they should.

I also don't really agree with some of his selections or team setups (and I am certainly not alone on that front) but I suppose you can chalk that up to preference as well. After all we're all being a kind of armchair manager here.

Either way; improvement or not (you really can't claim this qualifying group was anything but a cakewalk for a team such as Belgium) I personally feel like Martinez isn't the right manager for this team at all and I think we're going to crash phenomenally at the WC, depending on the draw of course. I really do hope I am wrong though.
