Continual campaigns are more so Traditional style games. These campaigns generally have a consistent party and focus on character development.*

West Marches

West March campaigns are more so campaigns that tend to be better for DMs with sporadic schedules. These campaigns generally have a consistent setting but with a rotating cast of characters. These games often have a higher challenge rating and death is more common.
