OT Jake Long has signed with the Vikings. Despite injury history (2 torn ACLs), MIN fans think this is an improvement over what's on the field now. Slight boost to Bradford and the backfield coming out of the bye?

Watching his every snap, he has looked like a shell of his former self this year. However, he is playing with a torn pectoral, it is known, so he is one tough SOB. Speculation in Chicago was he demanded a new contract before he played hurt, and he got one. When healthy he is a top dawg, no doubt about it, and I am very very surprised Bears made this move since anchoring an OLime and DLine is the only way to win in today's NFL.

All that being said, he is an upgrade for the Vikings just aweful Line even with his injury. If anything, the move was made to keep Bradford alive, as he is not particularly mobile and has taken some of the hardest shots I've ever seen a QB take the last 2 games.

I don't think it will affect Bradfords numbers very much, as they have a D likely to keep them playing ahead and lining up in run formation last 15 minutes, but he MAY get another TD or 2 or 5 over course of the year, but still neglible and something you can't calculate.

I DO like how this bodes for McKinnon and everyone's favorite vulture, Asiata, though, because he is a top mind in the game even if his top body is failing him. His mere presence will make those around him better and they have been running decent with the shit around them.

Vikes are all fucking in, and their D is the truth, so it may pay off. On another note, has anyone seen their final 7 game schedule?! Outside Packers week 17, they easily have a shot at going the distance undefeated if their D holds up and Bradford avoids injury.
