Jazz owner here. I eyed this bass for a year before I finally pulled the trigger when I by accident found another shop that had one in stock. Best decision ever.

Long story short: started with Squier PJ, found out we didn't match quite early. Tried to keep the cost low and traded around, played every bass I could get my hands on for at least a couple of minutes. After 25 or so I could give you a detailed list of my likes and dislikes.

Still - it was expensive, unnecessary so; I'm no pro and certainly never will be. But now I own this bass and am content. I don't even have the urge to try other basses out (I think my Squier felt really overlooked, sorry dear..).

I thought since I would never be happy with anything else but this bass. And I already had my eye on for a year, vowing I'd try my best to be worthy one day. I was so committed. Now I'm even more so, I just love looking at this bass and end up playing every time :)

No matter how much I would have modded something else and this could've ended even more expensive.

If it doesn't set you back financially go for it.
