Patron Warrior in a nutshell.

By turn 9 you should absolutely be close to 20 cards deep into your deck as patron warrior. Citing that it's turn 9 just feeds the obvious fact of your inexperience and lack of understanding.

Any time you watch someone play against patron consistently on Twitch.tv, the first game the patron gets garbage draws, makes desperation plays and loses like they are the innkeeper on practice mode,

Really? If 50% of the time their draws are so bad they can't possibly win, why are so many players able to climb to legend? Why am I currently sitting at rank 6 with my service to the firelord and getting everyone in here? I'm not even close to being legend material.

You also conveniently left out fiery war axe, BLOOD AND PLUNDUH, the fact that there's TWO death's bites, armor to further mitigate and stall the game, executes for big minions, taskmasters can cause other minions to trade very positively or act as a finisher for enemy minions, or with aco, a combination of more draw + better trade + a 2/2 minion .. etc, etc, ETC.

You cited darkbomb/soulfire malygos lock which does nowhere near the same damage, discards cards, multiple darkbombs can't even be played on the same turn with a tick of thaurissan, and it maxes out at 24 damage with the tick of thaurissan, provided your first soul fire doesn't discard your second one.

Like I said, you're typical. There's always you, plenty of you, on every game, and I always get shit on with downvotes, then 3 months later the whole game has erupted into chaos over the same crap I've been saying over and over since whatever it was had been released. It happened repeatedly on Planetside, and it happens every time on this game too. "Wait for the meta to develop!" "It hasn't been out that long!" "You're just bad, l2p!!11"

I don't know why it takes so many times getting your face pounded in by an unbalanced thing to realize it's unbalanced, and how people using an unbalanced thing are so frequently incapable of admitting it is unbalanced.. but you, one of those people, always take forever to get it and defend every new unbalanced thing to the damn death for months every time. It gets so old. Just quit it. I'm so tired of reading poor arguments from mediocre players positing like they're #1 legend. When I critique something harshly for being unbalanced, every time, it is something I'm using and to great effect. It's not QQ to make the game easier for myself, I just like the games I play to favor fun, counterplay and interesting gameplay, not minmax powergaming wombo combo garbage.

It bores me to crap out a board full of patrons/crap out a frothing or two and tear off my opponent's face in one turn. There is no anticipation, no drama, no suspense.. and god, do I hate playing other patron warriors. They constantly take so long to finish their turns, it's maddeningly slow, not just because of animations.

Also, a high skill ceiling is in no way justification for something being OP. On Planetside there was a gun with an extremely high skill ceiling - my k/d ratio with it was literally 100:1. I was good with it, yes, that helped - but it was by far mostly because it was flatly, insanely, ridiculous overpowered as fuck. I should have been closer to 5:1. It made me 20 times as effective or 2000% "better." It had the same 2000% effect for other players, putting them at 20:1 when they should be 1:1. Nothing in Hearthstone is that flagrant, but it illustrates my point that a high skill ceiling is no justification for something being OP.
