I don't know about Futaba or Haru, but Makoto isn't impossible.

[This all happens between the 2nd and 3rd dungeon for Persona 5. I'll try to be vague but I wouldn't want to spoiler anyone.](#s "Based on the timing of the events in Persona 5, they're sometime in June. Madarame's dungeon is finished by June 6th and the rainy season starts June 13th, which the characters will talk about once they are back in the hideout. Makoto's whole thing locks up your time on June 18th, about a week later, and the characters don't have a choice about what they do until June 22. And we get additional chapters in the collab on June 23rd.

So, if the timing of the real world matters at all, then I guess the collab happens the night before the phantom thieves investigate the Burglary King (June 17th), and then they have to deal with that for a week before they can go back and help out, by which point Makoto would be in the party (June 23rd).

But I doubt Cygames is going that route, its a lot more likely that the time frame is supposed to happen in between dungeons 2 and 3 in persona 5, so Makoto had not joined the team yet.")
