For speed runs, after the game had launched, the way you would do it. Is you would have a group of higher level players waiting in the quest area for you. So, you pick up a quest and then run to the area. From there the high level players kill the quest mobs in one hit. You then run to the next quest zone and do this until you have to run back to town.

The problem is that this strategy doesn't work as well if the game just launched. The above strategy rests on high level players one hitting quest mobs. It pretty much comes down to Method using a good strategy in the wrong way.
