Please, my head hurts :(

All of those inventions and scientific progress are built upon the work of thousands who came before them. And the subsequent production of goods is built upon another thousands of engineers, factory workers, distributors, who are necessarily paid less than what they produce, the definition of exploitation. There is no one individual who does it all by themself, and thus shouldn’t be allowed claim to all of it alone.

Not to mention mass leaps in technology that are direct results of state funded research. The way I’m sending this message right now, the internet, was literally a state funded research project

Capital is incredibly risk averse, and often the “innovation” is just profiting off public funded research

You bring up the automobile alongside the internet, but what massive destruction has that brought to the US? Millions of miles of road and infrastructure subsidized by the government, cities and transport being designed to be car-centric due to the automobile industry’s intervention - things that now directly contribute to destroying the environment, insufficient housing, inefficient allocation of capital.

We have an expensive, inefficient mode of transport that we pay for in time, money, and lives, all so some auto execs could make more money
