Going to college was great for my understanding and yet skepticism surrounding the US/Global economy.

When I was broke after however many years of schooling I got a job.

I did very well at that job and was fired by a member of the company’s ownership that made him have to show up and actually work. Begin distrust of Dad’s advice about “jussst get a decent job and stick with it, do right by the company and they’ll tooootaly take care of you.

Next job: Bike messenger in a major metropolitan area. Almost get killed.

Next Job: Oh wait, I’m not going to prison for trying to make money. Fuuuck that.
