Whether you can come or cannot is aside from the fact that you should try to. Have you tried to reach your local health department yet? That's where I'd start. Call and leave a brief message, and send in one email if you can find a contact on a website. Fill out any appropriate form if you can find one as well. I don't think you should go any farther than doing that once or twice in a week or two. Try to be considerate of how overloaded they may be in that way, while also feeling like you've done your due diligence to report it in efficient way. After that point it's kind of beyond you and you should find ways to reduce your own risk and cope emotionally/relax thereafter.
