Pretty low effort, but seriously though

Sorry but I don't agree at all. For example the precision farming DLC was sponsored by John Deere and some nutrition studying body. These companies are using FS to advertise, they're not charging. "part of the deal they signed" is just hand-waving, if John Deere or others were charging to have their vehicles modeled they would 100% be copystriking modders, same as on youtube. And also same as on youtube, the manufacturers are SPONSORING their exposure, not charging. Imagine if Minnesota Millennial Farmer was having to pay John Deere to be allowed to profit off videos using their equipment. You and I both know that's not the direction the money is flowing.
