basically we need a box to box midfielder for this sort of setup next to arao. but it's not the only problem. first of all lincoln is just not a good left wingback because he simply lacks the pace and dribbling ability to be one. then we also need to mention that having king on that side makes it even worse because he doesn't provide width either. hes constantly looking to move into the box, which isnt a bad thing by itself but the combination of these two players is the reason why our left side doesnt produce anything. we're constantly looking for ferdi to do something. then irfan is just too slow and doesnt have the work rate to be a good winger, same issue as king, he always wants to go to the center of the pitch. there is one player in the entire lineup whos comfortable to stay wide and that is ferdi
