Problems with being a DoorDash driver

Worst thing for me has been the servers crashing on Friday peak hours. Drivers probably lost around $50 each last Friday night. But here’s a list:

  1. DoorDash servers crash when under heavy load.
  2. Slow restaurants suck. Learn which restaurants take forever in your area and decline them.
  3. Stacking orders is a gamble. The app will gleefully tell you that a second order is “on your route” without telling you that the delivery is 8 miles away until after you accept it.
  4. Restaurants not propping their doors open and making you touch the handles to come inside. Chipotle does this while having 3 workers sitting in the lobby playing on their phones.
