As replied to someone else, I'm definitely open to new ideas and opinions, the general consensus originally was this

Strange (me) store number? Bad!
Strange (me) share number with other strange (person signing up)? Bad!

But that was the original bot, which was understandable, I'm just another random person on the internet.

Tell you what. I'll include a survey link in the "you successfully renewed" message that goes out in about a week from now. If majority agrees, I'll change it. It also saves me work as well.. I just scrape the SMS thing which seems to have broke on me and I ran out of time to repair it.

Also if one prefers that the bot deliver you an email or text message along with the Reddit message, it can definitely be arranged.
