Testing “Gank Range” (Input Request)

As hand cannons have continued to be a hot topic, the term "gank range" has come up multiple times. This weekend I plan to do some testing to figure out what "gank range" is - a distance value in meters - for as many subclasses as I can. Before I do, I wanted to pick the brains of CPB so I can make this test as accurate as possible. My testing process would be as follows:

Stormcaller (example)

Tests

  • Determine charged melee range (m)

  • Determine sprint speed (m/s) using most common competitive stormcaller build

  • Determine slide distance (m)

  • Determine slide time (s) duration of a slide start to finish

  • Determine charged melee/shotgun shot duration (s) basically the time it takes to shoot and then melee

  • Is 'Blint' range (m) > charged melee range?

  • *'Blint' range refers to the maximum range where an aggballs/rifled PC+1 will do 78 or more damage to the body. I need to make sure this range is equal to or greater than charged melee range, as a charged melee would follow up the shotgun shot. (200 hp guardian - 122 damage charged melee = 78)

  • Backpedal speed (m/s) speed of the opponent moving away from the charging stormcaller

I could then calculate the distance covered by (1, 2?) seconds of sprint + the distance covered by a slide + charged melee range (which should be less than blint range) - distance covered by (.5, 1.5?) seconds of backpedalling. This would yield a distance in meters, that we could consider a stormcaller's "gank range".

There are obviously variables I can't account for here. The armor and agility of each character, vertical space, the shotgun being used, the use and availability of cover, the time at which backpedaling starts, and backpedal speed seems especially variable. Any suggestions would be appreciated. It may not even be worth my time due to the variability, but it is something I am interested in looking into.
