The way they do it, they address both, fixing out issues on the grand scale whilst also bringing down the peak that is cav.
This hasn't happened.
so they include forts, brings down the damage including the peak.
This does next to nothing because of the overwhelming power coming from the problem units, as has been mentioned multiple times now.
"Blade times are too strong" (stronger on cav teams), they introduce panic ploy, bringing down the peak as well as the overall level.
5* locked skills have almost no impact on the meta since a vast majority of the playerbase will never have those skills, especially when they can/will be promoting the ezpz freebie cavalry units instead that also require next to no SI to use.
YOU CANT FIX EVERYTHING AT ONCE
They haven't fixed A SINGLE THING. That's the fucking problem.
They care. They are curating the game to make it last.
2 months with no changes that actually make a difference say otherwise.
Knee jerk reactions just don't work in a game with as many moving parts and complicated interactions like this has.
Reactions in general are kind of mandatory, and they haven't happened.
Also for the record, Horse Emblem is strong, but not unbeatable, split em up and you win, pretty much every time.
Doesn't work flawlessly, most maps don't allow it, and even when you can sort of predict the AI, it's still fucking stupid. I can't force Reintard to chase Julia, for obvious reasons, but she's the only unit I have that can ever even consider taking a hit from him. Instead what happens is Xander chases Julia and easily reaches her because of 3 tile movement unless I also happened to bring my lancer, but my lancer draws Cecilia, who will kill her instead. What the fuck do I do there? Or hey, how do you even attempt to split them up on a map like this, which was clearly designed to benefit cavalry teams and only cavalry teams? Or how about this map? What about here? IS doesn't give a shit about people who aren't using cavalry.
