This anime is beautiful.

The main charcter herself is my 2nd fav. How she manipulates the people who get in her way is amazing and very calming to me

Ah, yes, amazing and calming psychopath.

She's The most innocent girl, in a world full of Horrible People.

Ah yeah, she lives in the society! No, she is egoistic, violent, delusional girl in a world full of just as horribly disgusting people. She is a psychopath, a murdered, a manipulator and a pedophile, and probably a lot of other things I've forgotten since I've watched it. Her desire to defend Shio does not justify most of the things she does in the show.

I was actually excited to see the show when it was announced, but then I watched it and it was the biggest disappointment I've ever experienced in this medium, just a stream of poorly written, shallow, abhorrent shock content with no meaning whatsoever, with some cute moments thrown in just to make it even more of incoherent mess. Every episode just gets worse than the previous one in the glorious trainwreck of disgusting filth.

I mean, yeah, there are reasons to watch this anime - if you just like yandere trope and starved for content, if you like psychopaths or just interested in mental illness (it does a poor job of showing mental illness though), if you want to watch something visually appealing but thematically repulsive, if you like hatewatching shows.

But it's probably better to watch something else instead.

I struggle to think of one good thing to say about this show.
