Hey, thanks for responding respectfully! I was half expecting to just be ripped apart because I don’t actually think logically about anime or know anything about film narrative. I judge emotionally and with no second thoughts regarding cliches or generic film conventions. I tend to be a very logical and truth seeking person in other aspects of my life, but with anime I just kind of like what I like. I really do appreciate your response. Knowing someone read my overly long, empty comment and then took the time to write a solid, sensical and non-hostile reply is a great feeling.
