Question about free speech

We don’t swear at whoever we want. We don’t call a black person using the N word. We don’t call a Jewish person using the K word. We don’t make fun of people’s disabilities. We don’t make fun of people’s skin colour. We don't make fun of Homosexual people because of their sexual orientation. We don’t use the F word on live TV. We don’t use the F word in front of Children. We don’t insult people just because we want to. Why not? Don’t we have Freedom of Speech? We do. But even if it is not against the law (some places it might be), we still won’t do a lot of things because of moral and ethical reasons. Because we don’t want to hurt people. Race, sexual orientation or choice - DOESN'T MATTER. We don't hurt people because it is hurtful. It clearly shows Freedom of Speech is not without ethical boundaries. Then why do we want Freedom of Speech without ethical boundaries, when it comes to insulting Islam and Muslims? Surely, the extremists committed a heinous crime. Human life is above all this. I'm just pointing out the double standard in our Freedom of Speech. I'm not calling for censorship or blasphemy law. I'm simply calling for being sensible. Religion is not a race. It is a choice. But it is a choice of almost 2 billion people. And they get offended (not just the extremists) when their religion is mocked. Christians don't get offended when Jesus is mocked doesn't mean Muslims can't. Otherwise question arises, who decides what can be mocked? Who decides race cannot be mocked and choice can? The majority? Well, not very long ago, majority agreed Race Can be mocked and Discriminated. So, why would we want to mock? If it was academic research from a secular point of view about their religion then by all means, we can do that. We can disagree with Islam. Criticism and Mockery are NOT THE SAME. Why mock and make fun of? Only reason I can think of is: We'll rub it in your face, what are you gonna do about it? [I don't think that's gonna bring any good]
