To think we are alone in a universe estimated to be 43 000 000 000 lightYEARS across, seems a little arrogant (not trying to be rude, people). Knowing the potentials of mathematical odds, you can not exclude the possibility.
Considering the earth acquired life on a planet which is 1/3 the age of the universe (as we know it today) (4 500 000 000 vs 13 700 000 000 years), I'm not surprised if life has already come and gone elsewhere already.
The basic building block for the universe is Hydrogen, and gravity creates suns that produce Oxygen, that is scattered in supernovae. Hydrogen and oxygen makes water, and voilà; we have the receipe for water everywhere.
I am an optimist in this regard.

As we are a pretty young civilization on the cosmic scale, we have already started a search for exo-planets, and in 2018 the James Webb Space Telescope will be launched. Then, our own search for life out there will become a serious reality.

In my own dive through the Internet, I must confess that the Roswell incident in 1947 have all the trates of a legit conspiracy theory.
To throw out a few bones in this regard: We are all beginning to see how controlling our governments have become. And considering how fragile our collective psyche was in the aftermath of the two world wars, announcing ET's at that point in time would have a devastating effect on the NWO agenda.
If Albert Pike's 3 World Wars theorem is true, my personal reasoning is that ET's can not yet be revealed (if they are actually here).
He was, after all, the most influential freemason of the 19th century, and I recognise his book "Morals and Dogma" as a must read for anyone interested in wrapping their heads around what is going on in our society today. (It does not have any ET-related content btw.)

If you want do delve into this field of research (esoteric and historic), I strongly recommend it, for your own personal growth as well. I don't agree with everything he says, because I am not a Luciferian (egoistic) thinker, but he sheds some light on deeper issues we should all be aware of.
In this regard, I think I see why Illuminati is forcing their agenda down our troats, and it is not the reason you might think; They want us to get broken down, before we can be able to climb back up again.
