A question about 'gay voice'.

I was largely raised by my mother, grandmother and aunt. So I do find what you say about that relevant. I suppose if what you're saying about reflecting voices, I wonder if I do that without thinking about it then? Like, while I'm sitting there quietly noting the growing effeminate in their voice perhaps they are sitting there quielty noting how I started sounding femmy but wound up sounding like a mountain man. That would funny but horrifying, would be an interesting thing to record and see. Maybe we just reach a sort of equalization subconsciously in our voices? I am totally speculating of course but your comment and others have given some real thought on this.
