HAVE A QUESTION? ASK HERE! Daily Help and Questions: August 14, 2020

Hi, I wanted to upgrade my products. I’ve just been using some regular products for washing face and moisturizer/sunscreen, but I feel it’s not good enough for me.

I’ve had psoriasis so long that I don’t know what my skin type (dry/normal/oily) is anymore. However, I’d say my face naturally gets more oily and sweaty over the day and with exercise. Living in California, dry and hot in summer, dry and cold in winter (which is bad for psoriasis)

I use sunscreen everyday, and I use a foaming cleanser to wash during the night. My face can’t touch hot water or harsher products because the it starts hurting and my face gets red from both irritation and psoriasis. However, I still get a little bit of acne, and I wish to treat some “sebaceous filaments” on my nose.

I’m looking for a cleanser that won’t be irritating, disrupt my psoriasis but is powerful enough to get rid of sweat, oil and sunscreen. I’ve looked into gentle cleansers like Neutrogena Ultra Gentle Daily Cleanser and CeraVe Hydrating Facial Cleanser, but it seems people can’t wash their sunscreen off properly with them. Any suggestions?

I actually have a tub of cerave I’m planning on incorporating into my routine, haven’t used it yet. I also use psoriasis treatments during my routine.

On a separate note, I got a tube of Dr.Jart cicapair cream as a gift. I’m not sure if I should be using it, since the recommendations is usually to get a stable routine of cleanser/moisturizer/sunscreen down first before incorporating other products.
