After being banned repeatedly for trivial reasons and the increasing censorship of the main subreddit, /u/LlamawiththeUzi and I decided to create a new subreddit and Discord free of censorship where we don’t have to worry about being constantly censored and banned over petty reasons. About three weeks ago, Magnaboy banned me for 2 weeks for “self-promotion” (not even a rule on the sidebar btw) for linking my subreddit Thread link of me explaining my ban. This was minutes after Magna linked my subreddit himself (not a hypocrite btw). I begrudgingly accepted my two week ban and waited it out, meanwhile some other mods from my subreddit remained perma-banned during this period. Shortly after, Magnaboy blacklists the term “/r/Ice_Poseidon2” on the main subreddit (test it out for yourself, your message won’t show up except in your profile) and temporarily bans other people for linking our subreddit. At this point, he is clearly in full censorship mode for whatever reason. Magnaboy even popped up in our subreddit to make a post. Then he appeared in our discord the day we created it to call us “fags”. It is very clear at this point that he has an eye on us. Fast-forward to a week ago, I’m finally unbanned. I’m shitposting as usual, trying not to break any rules and everything seems fine again. Now we just need to get the rest of the shitposters unbanned and everyone is happy again. Fast-forward to yesterday, Ice Poseidon himself joined our IcePoseidon2 discord (as he mentioned on stream) and talked to some of us regarding our bans. He uplifted all the remaining bans and we were all content with the result. We thought that should be the end of all the drama and conflict now we can all shitpost freely like we usually did without a problem, right? The next day, I go online to see modmail from a Reddit administrator about a random message on my subreddit being deleted for “inciting violence”. We’ve never been in contact with the Reddit admins before and the message that was reported wasn’t too extreme or anything (something to do with Kermit and gas, you figure it out), so it was odd to see that the admins were watching our subreddit all of a sudden. Was someone trying to get our subreddit in trouble by reporting messages to the admins? Perhaps, but I didn’t think too much of it at the time. So I made a few random posts on Ice’s reddit, I started watching a couple streams and shortly after I notice that suddenly people on discord are panicking, telling me that I had removed their moderator status from my sub and that I had turned on everyone. I refresh my Reddit page and I had been logged out. Someone had hacked my Reddit account. I reset my password as fast as I could and got control of my account again, and logged in to find that all my subreddit mods were gone and I had a single unread message saying that I had just been permanently banned from the main subreddit. No reason was given for my ban. All the other /r/Ice_Poseidon2 mods who were on Discord also said that they had been banned as well at the same time. I believe only /u/MolestorStalone,/u/fatman_cx___ and /u/jafalaka82 (the ones that don’t use discord) remain the only ones unbanned. After having personally spoken to Ice yesterday, fought to get unbanned, and abided by the rules, we were understandably confused and angry. Kubs contacted Ice directly via twitter just after it happened and here is what he said: Message #1 Vote manipulating? We have never done so, if you’re going to make such claims you’d better have proof of it before dropping the ban-hammer. Message #2 Immediately tried fucking him over? How? By posting shitposts like the other 99% of the subreddit? Some of us weren’t even posting when this happened, so where’s the rationale in banning all of us for the actions of few? Message #3 Then he stopped responding. At this point it is clear that someone from the main sub has a vendetta against us, almost certainly it is Magnaboy and his friend TitusAlberto. They both moderate the same subreddits. Exhibit A. Exhibit B. Also, Ice said he specifically wanted mods who had previous modding experience (Titus has none), yet he still chose Titus over many other more suitable candidates. Magna must’ve put in a good word for Titus when Ice was hiring new moderators. Titus also has a grudge against /u/Bulleck, a fellow moderator of /r/Ice_Poseidon2, for some unknown reason, as you can see from his post history where he threatens to ban him and says “get shit on nerd”. Very classy behaviour from a moderator, I must say. But what is the motive of hacking a Reddit account? None of my other online accounts (ie. email, bank account, etc) were hacked or even attempted to be logged into. I had done a virus scan prior and after my account being hacked with 0 results. I never downloaded a malicious file. All I did that day was log onto Reddit, go on Discord, look at YouTube/Twitch, and the next thing I know my Reddit account had been compromised. Some dude literally hacked my Reddit just to remove all my subreddit mods. Who else could possibly have the motive to do this other than a vindictive and jealous /r/Ice_Poseidon mod? Here is an album of what discord looked like during the few minutes my account had been compromised. You can see Titus join and leave, and Victor join as well. Coincidence? I honestly don’t think so. My reddit password wasn’t strong by password standards (you don’t expect someone to try hack your reddit) but it wasn’t really guessable, and I'm not sure how effective it is to brute force a reddit password. Though I can’t prove it, this leads me to believe that it was found using the iceposeidon.com database. I had used the site before and the extension but removed it immediately, but I guess my information had already been stored. Note: If you haven’t already, I would highly recommend anyone that has used http:///www.iceposeidon.com to immediately change any passwords that are shared with any other important accounts they own, just to be safe. Possible reasons for this conflict: Magnaboy has extreme power-tripping issues and with the subreddit on its last strike, he wants to cull the competition. Magnaboy/Titus (and/or possibly other mods) have a personal vendetta against us and other moderators of the /r/Ice_Poseidon2 subreddit and are lashing out and causing drama. Ice is scared of an uncensored subreddit becoming popular where he has no control over the narrative, so he is trying to suppress us and defame us. All/some of the above. I want to re-iterate that we strictly abide by a “no doxxing” and “no brigading” rule on Reddit AND on discord. We have already banned multiple people for breaking these rules. /u/Bulleck was retarded enough to break the rule once and his thread was deleted, he was demodded for a few weeks and given a stern warning. It has not happened since, and we will not let it happen again. TL;DR: It seems that Magnaboy (and his friend TitusAlberto) likely have a vendetta against me and the moderators of our subreddit and are banning us from /r/Ice_Poseidon for petty reasons. Ice joined our discord and unbanned all us shitposters himself. Then a day later my account got hacked (most likely by an /r/Ice_Poseidon mod), and all my subreddit mods got removed. We all got banned again for no reason and Ice doesn’t give a shit. Now we’re back to square one, but now with even more resentment towards the main sub and its corrupt and shady mods.
