can't tell for chromium edge but for edge this problem is known for months now and no one seems to find a solution but there's a way to circumvent the problem as it concerns only the home page of reddit. try:

and then navigate from it but as soon you'll hit the home page https://www.reddit.com it will go blank again. note that this behavior is random. sometimes it's blank for weeks and suddenly it works for a day or two before to go blank again.

impossible that reddit devs do not know about the problem by now but nothing has been done so I guess they didn't find a solution or didn't look into this problem yet.

you can reinstall, go pristine no addon, whatever, it won't work. many tried that already in vain so don't bother.
