Rehashed, unapologetic racism in /r/pics

This sort of thing is why I try to just use reddit for entertainment news and discussions about TV, film and games. I try to steer clear of any posts that have a high potetntial of bringing out the idiots (i.e. any posts that have any non-whites/anything to do with non-whites in it are bound to at some point turn to shit). But it's a difficult thing to do, as spiralling into bigotry and ridiculous personal arguments seems to be what reddit is best at.

It's not just the so called "hilarious", "ironic" racist "humour" that has gotten oh so old. The huge racists and people who've actually thought about and accepted their skin-colour/cultural superiority are also out in droves, upvoting, downvoting and bringing their brand of ridiculous lifestyle choice to this place.

Maybe it's not such a bad thing. We go on and on about democracy. This is part of it, having to hear the cunts. Having to respect the disrespect of the cunts.

Maybe it's about "opression", that is when people feel they are in the minority, even when they are statistically probably not, they become more radicalised, in a reddit sense this probably means pople who drink the "everyone who doesn't hate as much as I do, or isn't as indifferent as me is an evil SJW" kool-aid think that poeple with any sort of social conscience are opressing them and then they circlejerk all over the site. Considering that most of reddit is probably under 20 and still developing mentally, going through "what doth life" shit, I believe that the influx of hate on the site is just due to idiot kids being led by broken cunts (like hundreds of mini e-Charles Manson's pulling along a trail of broken, hate-filled, young, dumb kids). Eh, that's also democratic politics in a broader sense too I guess.
