Second: is there a specific order to do badges/giants/hideouts?

With badges you expand your levelcap? Is there a specific order to do badges/giants/hideouts?

They told me ingame that i can go whatever „way“ i want, but i had already a struggle with my team.

I went to the west - first arena - took my time with catching pokemon and all went fine. Went to the second arena and the leader had level ~25 i believe? As said i took my time and i were always at the said badge levelcap and barely made it. Third arena around 33? And fourth i struggled against lvl 42. (my team was mostly weak to it and more important, the cap at 35!).. when i beat it my levelcap got to 40! I assume next arena will be 50+.. how can i do it?

Important: my team is over the levelcap BUT they still listen to me (8level above! - level 48~) Catched pokemon wont listen but my team still does.. im confused af.
