Religion Flow Chart

it's either you're not religious or you don't care about what's true.

Doesn't it ultimately break down that way, though? Religions that don't make truth claims can be summarized as philosophies and/or empty traditions. Every deeply religious person I have ever known has clung dearly to the actual truth claims of their religion, many to the point of being willing to die for those beliefs, while either failing to investigate or not caring that their beliefs are factually incompatible with all advanced human thought since the Enlightenment. Religions also have a bad habit of suppressing all factual truths that aren't of immediate instrumental value to their agenda and waging disinformation campaigns that harm the public, so that doesn't help in their defense.

The whole concept of faith in religion is the concept of not caring about the factual truth, at least not first and foremost. As the main point of this flowchart thing, that actually works. It's the badly written shit in the middle that makes it suck so hard.
