Do you think remote work is slowly dying? Most companies seem to be pushing RTO, even big tech you folks think ?

I’m not sure I agree with the conclusion that full remote improves morale. We’ve had struggles with full remote. Some staff are not pulling their weight and it’s obvious which ones are not working or at least not working as much as they are supposed to and it’s creating a new work dynamic amongst those that are working and productive and those that are not. I wouldn’t say morale has improved for the hard workers. They seem more frustrated to me not less. I think the ideal is a 3-4 day in office hybrid setup. But I worked at insurance company back in the 2000s that basically already had that the equivalent of a hybrid except it was in the office. Short version was that professional employees could leave anytime after noon any day without needing to take PTO or get approval. Just be professional about your job and get your work done. I don’t think you need to be full remote to treat employees professionally and allow flexibility in their work schedules for other life needs and to keep morale up.
