[REQUEST] Can we get this site into the side bar? It's new, but its got great potential.

hello [WizardPineapple],

i have been getting a bit more traffic lately and a few mentioned they found out about us thru reedit. im not reddit savi myself or else i would be posting there too. but with instagram, email, facebook and website to manage it can get messy. not to mention i still have my personal life to juggle.

thank you, i pride myself in being the normal guy who decided to get my hands dirty. jbit retro began on a casual friday pizza and super smash wii u drinking sesh and one of my buddies would constantly hear me bring up all kinds of ideas and i would say i wish. so he told me to stop and be the guy to make it happen.

we began with customs but recently have been moving into manufacturing instead. it was always the goal, but just customs were and are the way we were trying to find it. but with the market getting semi saturated with modders, mods are just not as profitable. our customs are still pretty good quality and unique. we like that. it not your typical shell swap. we have been trying to expand our Fan base and steadily do each and every day. you can never have too many customers.

we are hard at work to produce gameboy color and gameboy pocket shells. in colors not currently available. our main purpose and goal is to be the guys who say "why not". were not scared to invest in manufacturing something because it wouldn't be supper profitable. theres just so many great products and color choices that need to come to market.

to answer your question. its SP front lights. we have seen and used Kitsch bent front lights and they are not quality, even loca bonded. (no offence to anyone, we are customers of kitsch ourselves at times, those DMG silicone buttons are great for playing at night). hand held legends look a bit more clear but still not great from the pictures we have seen on their site. we actually made an announcement that we will suspend front lighting gameboy colors. this will reduce the price of our custom gameboys a bit. we will still offer the front light but as an add on option.

currently our focus is in selling out pocket screens, GBC color screens and our custom air brushed shells (which we are still working on finishing) we have a list of items we need to make for our customers. our keychains are on the way, plus we need to make other promotional items. everything getting us closer to one of our goals our little project, glow in the dark gameboy colors. were currently working on the packaging of those. they will be regular unmodded gameboys.

we never really thought we would get this far, we originally were doing it to fund our own gaming habits, but we havent really spent money on ourselves due to expanding and investing. soon to pay off. we are just trying to contribute to the gaming and collecting community. :)

thank you. hopefully you got enough info to pass down to your community. we do not openly discuss the ins and outs of our business, many people ask, but we reserve those details on a need to know basis and not many need to know. just know we are working hard. we will stop and continue our custom gameboys soon. once we aquire the machinery we feel we need to be a one stop shop for true custom gameboys.

thank you for your time and i apologize for the sizable read. kudos if you made it this far. from me and the rest of the jbit retro team, thanks.
