Is RIT a bad school to attend if you are on the Autistic Spectrum?

Hi OP - There is a lot of support available for students here, including a support program specifically for students on the Autism Spectrum. Year One classes help first-year students get acclimated on campus, like learning how to access campus resources, getting to know each other, and building friendships.

Academically, the Academic Support Center offers a variety of support outside the classroom, including tutoring and developing study strategies. The Wallace Center (that's us) has a lot of resources too, including subject-specific librarians who can assist you with research, the Writing Commons that offers one-on-one help with academic or professional writing, and the Expressive Communication Center that offers one-on-one help with public speaking and giving presentations.

There's also a Counseling Center right on campus if you're struggling with depression or stress/anxiety.

Hope this helps!
