Rural voters have turned their backs on the Democratic party — a Wisconsin political organizer describes which progressive economic policies can win them back

What? I was giving one example of the democratic part towards rural voters. There are many more, even in this thread.

Urban and suburban residents tend to believe their way of life is superior. This comes through in their attitude and actions towards people living in rural areas. When there is a lack of compassion or empathy towards certain people, they will look for it elsewhere even when it is just pandering for votes.

From the article: "In it, Hogseth accused the Democratic Party of not offering "rural voters a clear vision that speaks to their lived experiences." The article goes on to add: "Hogseth wrote, adding that as "capital overwhelmingly flows to metro areas, the small-town economy increasingly is dominated by large corporations: low-wage retailers like Dollar General or agribusiness firms that have no connection to the community."

Does that sound familiar? How about inner cities that have been forgotten about except when the time comes for votes? The only party speaking to the rural populations is the GOP, whether or not they are lying to them, that's the only party speaking to them. This is the reality of the situation. Whether you feel it's right or wrong or whether to not you feel the rural people should reject this kind of pandering, this is what is happening.
