S03E11 Israeli Trailer

I understand - and I knew I'd get replies saying that. My point is not rape, it's violent and explicit rapes. June was raped by Lawrence on 310, did we see it? No. Did it take away the meaning of what happened? Absolutely not. We don't need to see it. We know it's there. (edit: I don't think my original comment was fully understood - I don't think this show should make me comfortable or whatever, I just don't see explicit depictions of rape on television as necessary - ever).

2 things- Lawrence didn't rape June. They both ere preforming the action under duress. He is as much of a victim as she is in this case. 2nd its a show about rape. While they can avoid showing it most of the time its unreasonable to think they never show it. That being said we get maybe one of these really violent rapes per season. I feel like thats a reasonable ratio on a show that is literary about the rape and subjugation of women.
