salesperson says I need GY All Weather tire - is this true?

Not super knowledgeable about cars in general but this past autumn I bought new tires for my car for the coming winter so I took my time doing research. From the quote you were given, it sounds like a decent enough price for a new set of all weather tires, especially coming from a well know brand such as Goodyear. If you are expecting some snow. It's probably a good idea to get those, or even better winter tires. I personally bought all weather because it is sort of the best of both worlds from all season and winter - kind of a jack of all trades type. All weather can handle snow, and wetter conditions better than all seasons, and better than winter for dry and warmer conditions. I plan on leaving mine on my car all year cause I didn't want to buy another set of tires for the summer. Hope that helps!
