Yeah it is quite rare for the clinics to completely turn you down once you’ve been invited to an appointment, but it does happen.

If you get turned down for a reason that was already disclosed during the pre-vetting process (not enough medications/therapies, declared contra-indication etc.) then you usually have strong grounds for a complaint and a refund of the consultation fee.

If you get turned down because of concerns raised during the consultation that weren’t apparent from the initial medical history provided then often (but not always, it depends on the concerns raised) the MDT will give you another chance to provide any other medical history or evidence pertinent to their decision and will re-evaluate at another MDT using the new evidence.
