Instances.

That's what I'm chalking this up to right now. Those two steamer guys were in the same place at the same time, but they were more than likely in different instances.

Think about it, if they had every single ps4 player in one instance, and every single pc player in one instance, that'd be too much of a workload for the two dedicated servers.

So by having player a in room x instance 3 And player b in room x instance 4 They're both seeing the exact same thing, but they're just unlucky enough to not be a part of the same instance.

If this is right, then it's even less likely we'll meet someone else because you have to be in the right instance and the right place at the perfect time.

I'm hoping that in the future there's some small features to help people play together, because I know it's an exploration game, but if I could mark my bud on the galactic map and we both work together to travel towards one another, then I'd love to go exploring with him. It ain't a necessity of course, but I feel it would make it a whole lot more fun if you've got someone there to dwell in the beauty alongside you.

It's an absolutely amazing game and I'm so thankful Sean and his team made it. I'll be raising my next drink to them and all their hard work.
