The Elder Scrolls VI is next rather than Oblivion HD or Morrowind HD

I agree with you. They need to fix all of that. Up to the point where you said:

That is all Bethesda and the game engine. It is old.

You do not understand how engines work. When a developer creates an engine, they tend to just stick with that unless there is a VERY good reason to create a new engine instead. All issues that you are talking about are things that can be fixed and adjusted. Pathfinding issues means they need to work on issues with the pathfinding code. Glitches? They can be fixed. Crashes? Those can be fixed. Creating a new engine to fix those issues would be a massive, massive waste of money and time.

I have a perfect analogy. Say you have this house. It's an older house, but every year you go through the house looking for issues, and fix them as you go. So really the house is in pretty great condition. You walk up to the house today and realize there's no steps leading up to the house. Should you build an entirely new house? Fuck no. That'd cost you a massive amount of time and money. You simply build stairs right there. Then you walk in the house and see it needs a new coat of paint. Welp better scrap the whole house, right? Wrong! You just paint it.

It's exactly the same with engines. There are only a few reasons why a company should ever create an entirely new engine:
1. The time and money it would cost to update would be almost as much as creating a new engine anyway. 2. You want to write the engine in a different programming language. 3. You want to make a more versatile engine that can be used for a broader diversity of games (like Frostbite).
